OUR MISSION
We are a community gathered by faith to proclaim the
Divine Mercy of God for the conversion of souls through the
Holy Eucharist under the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
OUR VISION
To share the message of salvation in Christ Jesus
with all humankind and to witness to the fullness
of the Kingdom of God.
PROGRAM
We focus our program on the WORKS OF MERCY:
The CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY
- To feed the hungry;
- To give drink to the thirsty;
- To clothe the naked;
- To harbour the harbourless;
- To visit the sick;
- To ransom the captive;
- To bury the dead.
and The SPIRITUAL WORKS OF MERCY:
- To instruct the ignorant;
- To counsel the doubtful;
- To admonish sinners;
- To bear wrongs patiently;
- To forgive offences willingly;
- To comfort the afflicted;
- To pray for the living and the dead.
To realize our vision and to accomplish our mission, we concentrate on the following activities that we actively participate in our respective parishes in accordance with the authority of the Parish Priest to where we are located through the WORKS OF MERCY:
Service (Kingly)
- Feeding the hungry
- Burying the dead
- Comforting the sick
- Giving shelter to the homeless
- Comforting the imprisoned
- Clothing the naked
- Giving drink to the thirsty
- Forgiving offenses
- Serving in lay ministries
Education (Prophetic)
- Counseling the doubtful
- Instructing the uninformed
- Admonishing sinners
- Being patient with those in error
- Parish catechetical programs
- Parish bible study programs
- Formal Divine Mercy seminars, workshops and retreats.
Worship (Priestly)
- Frequent participation in the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation.
- Active participation in the other sacraments
- Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
- Consecration of the Soul to Jesus of Divine Mercy
- Other DivineĀ Mercy Prayers Unique to the Apostolate
- Mercy Stations of the Cross
- Visits the Blessed Sacrament
- Holy Rosary
- Various Novena and other devotional prayers
